(Gotta love the honesty in this cartoon from Gamespot!) We all know that the Federal deficit is out of control, especially since Obama just dumped 787 BILLION more dollars into the hole. But hey-he realizes his mistake!!! His new goal??"We will cut the deficit in half by the end of the president's first term."
"To get there, Obama proposes to cut spending and raise taxes. Reducing the deficit, he said, is critical: "We can't generate sustained growth without getting our deficits under control." Yesterday in his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama said he is raise determined to "get exploding deficits under control" (like the 787 billion in Porkus spending!) and said his budget request is "sober in its assessments, honest in its accounting, and lays out in detail my strategy for investing in what we need, cutting what we don't, and restoring fiscal discipline."
Sober? Seriously??? How were these decisions sober at all???
Honest?? His accountants and half the people he wants in the White House COMMITTED TAX FRAUD!
Detailed? Uh-wasn't his plan to spend almost a trillion dollars a mere 3 pages? I wrote book reports that were longer than that in the fifth grade!!!
So there you go folks, who would've thought Obama was going to raise our taxes to pay for the stimulus? ... duh!
