Obamacare to Cover Abortions

Yet another reason not to support this ridiculous man's health care plan.  It'll cover abortions.  Is this not ridiculous? 

"The Capps Amendment, passed by Democrats in the Energy and Commerce Committee at the end of July, specifically says that the "public health insurance option shall provide coverage for (abortion) services," and directs the "Commissioner" to "assure" that every American will have access "to at least one ... plan that provides coverage of (abortion) services."

Having an abortion is not a "right."  It takes away the right of another human being to live.  It's horrible. It's terrible. 

I'm still shocked at the amount of Christians (especially those who share my faith) that voted for this guy.  It's like they didn't do their research or something.

Oh, that's right. 

They didn't.

I'll try to stay off my soap box about the ignoramus's living off the government and let the photo do it's own talking. They say a picture is worth a thousand words-so enjoy the photo. Try to keep your blood pressure under control.

Perhaps I should chime and say something like, "Whoopty Doo! Michelle Obama doing service in the food kitchen! Good for her!!!" So here, I'll say it. Good for Michelle. I'm glad she can take a break from her lobster dinners and private jet tours across the country to occasionally do something for her fellow man.

Don't break your arm while patting your own back, Michelle.

AAA Redefine's Marriage to Support Gay Couples

I do not support Gay marriage and believe a family consists of a father and a mother. It really grates on my nerves when people try to redefine the meaning and change it for nothing other than business greed.

AAA just announced that they are going to let gay couples who live together be considered "married" and a "family" for the family membership package.

I'm not supporting them unless they reverse their decision. If you feel the same, contact AAA and voice your opinion.

It's Almost Too Much

Most nights at 11pm I can be found watching the Factor, Glenn Beck, or Colbert report. I catch up on all the latest issues, and then try to go to bed so mad I can't see straight. It's too infuriating to see what Barack and his horrid cabinet are doing to our wonderful country. I feel like I can't even try to post about all the things that he is doing because every day there is a new issue coming up.

Last night I was talking to another young couple. They're in a hurry to take advantage of the new $8,000 cash back from the government for new home buyers. I'm tempted to take advantage of that offer too. I know I will for sure be taking advantage of the $4500 rebate for trading in your old clunker car. I feel so guilty though. That money is part of his stimulus package that is going to screw my kids and grand kids. But there is the thought that if the money is there I might as well take advantage of it, right? ... but that's the very problem. He knows he can get away with this crap because once people see all these wonderful rebates they're going to get they take advantage of it. But little do we realize that the $4500 he "gives" us now is going to cost us thousands upon thousands in the next few years.

Health Care is going to screw us in the long run. Look at what happens in Europe and Canada because of their socialized medicine. Look at how the VA program is being run-anyone who knows anything understands what a mess that system is. And didn't one of those dumb eastern states try state wide medical care? And in just 7 short months they've gone millions of dollars over budget and predict they will be bankrupt before long. Why aren't people seeing that it doesn't work? Because they're blinded by the immediate result-they'll have free health care right now. They don't care what will happen to it in 10 years, they just want it free and they want it now.

All I can say right now is that we really need to be on top of the issues, and not just by sitting in front of our televisions complaining about them to whoever is in the same room. We need to join groups, be proactive about letting our voices be heard. I personally have joined a couple groups and am intent on helping make sure that America isn't in a worse situation for our children. I would expect every responsible American to do the same-we can't just give up and let these issues take over.

My brother brought this to my attention. I did spend about 15 minutes on the phone calling each of these people and telling them to vote no! If y'all have a chance before Friday-please do the same.

Call the following US congressman and tell them to vote "no" on the climate change bill that they are voting on tomorrow. Its up to 1200 pages and they are not done writing it and they vote on it tomorrow. It also will raise our energy bill by 1,600 dollars a year, bans domestic drilling, and estimated lose of jobs will be around 2 million.

Right in the middle of hearing a story about a 14 year old that told a tattoo parlour she was 18 to get three tattoos but fell asleep and woke up with 57-a commercial aired that really got on my nerves.

It was a commercial promoting Medicare, and they were saying how wonderful it was and how badly we need universal health care. They wanted us to call and tell them that we agree.
